Why Calisthenics (Bodyweight)

Baseline Fitness is built around bodyweight training because it is a low‑friction, repeatable system: minimal equipment, scalable difficulty, and clean feedback loops.

  • High compliance: train anywhere (home / park / travel).
  • Clear scaling: regressions + progressions keep effort appropriate.
  • Joint-friendly control: tempo + range of motion are adjustable.
  • Measurable baseline: a consistent final set (reps or hold time) gives you a stable reference point.
  • Stabiliser muscle usage: body-line control recruits stabilisers around shoulders, hips, trunk, and ankles.
  • Minor muscle activation: small supporting muscles contribute meaningfully when you control tempo and range.
  • Functional carryover: strength expressed through full-body coordination transfers well to daily movement.
  • Low overhead: fewer variables → clearer progression.

The aim is stability that compounds. Same movements, tracked consistently.

Generate your plan

Start with one exercise, enter your burnout baseline, then add more movements if you want. The generator creates a multi‑session plan using your exact 3‑set mechanism.

Progression defaults: +1 rep per session for rep-based moves, and +5 seconds per session for timed holds. If you want a slower ramp, increase total sessions (or set an end-goal and let Baseline calculate sessions for you).
